Riverside Out of School Care (ROSC) provides care to a maximum of 40 children, of primary age, at any one time. It operates 50 weeks of the year.
We operate from the flexible learning area within Riverside Primary School which has a secure entry system. We use a large airy room and have access to the school gym hall and playgrounds. We offer a wide range of activities, both indoor and outdoor and during the holiday club we go out and about exploring the local environment and further afield on occasional trips. Our Opening Hours
Breakfast Club: This is open from 7.45am to 9am. We offer We offer a breakfast of cereal, pancakes or scones to children arriving before 8.30 am. The children can play with a selection of resources and have access to the school gym hall.
After School Care: This is open 3.15pm to 6pm. We collect primary 1 and 2 children from their classes and bring them to ROSC. All other children make their own way to ROSC. We provide a healthy snack. Holiday Club: This operates during most of the school holidays and staff development days excluding Easter weekend, May Holiday Monday and the Christmas holiday period. Our holiday club is open from 8am to 6pm. During this time we offer trips out and about in the local community and invite in different activities such as Zoo Lab. This service is also available to families within the Stirling area.
Inclusion
ROSC is committed to providing an inclusive environment for all children. We provide some places for children with additional support needs but we are not a specialist resource. Where possible, children with additional support needs will have access to the same facilities, activities and play opportunities as their peers. We are committed to providing a service and environment, within our resources and available funding, which will allow children with additional support fiegis geek vape needs full access to these play opportunities making reasonable adjustments where necessary.
Management
ROSC is a charity run by a volunteer parent committee. All parents and carers whose children attend ROSC are automatically members of the organisation and are encouraged to become involved.
