We are currently looking for a childcare practitioner who will undertake duties required to support the development and delivery of a quality out of school care service for children attending the service.
The practitioner will also be responsible for identifying and meeting the care, safety, support and developmental needs of children, participating in the quality assurance of the service and the supervision of other workers.
Salary £8.60 to £9.35 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
The post is up to 23 hours per week or hours as agreed with a suitable candidate with other hours for training and meetings when required. School term time hours are 8-9am for breakfasts, 3-6pm for the afternoon sessions plus 1 hour for weekly meetings.
School holidays hours are worked in shift pattern agreed and set by the manager, to deliver a service between 8am – 6pm and may be more than 23 hours weekly.
This role requires registration with the SSSC, so the applicants should hold or be working towards the appropriate qualifications for registration or be prepared to undergo training. All applicants will need to be a member of the PVG scheme or prepared to join it.
